  Azerbaijani ombudsperson calls on int

The occupation policy of Armenia against Azerbaijan continues today, Sabina Aliyeva, the Commissioner for Human Rights of Azerbaijan (Ombudsman), told journalists, AzVision.az reports.

Sabina Aliyeva said that the Office of the Ombudsman has applied to all international organizations in this regard:

“I demand from the international institutions to immediately react harshly against this aggression of Armenia. Their occupation policy, which continues today, must be stopped. During the prevention of provocation byArmenia, 50 of our children were martyred. I bow before the souls of all our martyrs, I pray for a speedy recovery of our veterans.”

Sabina Aliyeva emphasized that from November 2020 until now, 242 people have been victims of landmines:

“Even today, Armenia sends sabotage groups to the lands we liberated and tries to mine our lands. Our victorious and triumphant army prevented this attempt. If the enemy side again resorts to such provocations, they will be resolutely prevented. A commitment should be forced upon Armenia, which threatens peace and security in the region.”
